We will be reviewing the information shortly with a view to putting out another Call in the coming weeks. If you have any questions regarding the Call for Evidence or the CCRA4 Technical Report please contact &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:CCRA4-IATechnicalReport@metoffice.gov.uk\">CCRA4-IATechnicalReport@metoffice.gov.uk.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>UK&#8217;s Seventh Carbon Budget, Wales&#8217;s Fourth Carbon Budget and Northern Ireland&#8217;s Fourth Carbon Budget<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>In November 2023, the CCC launched a call for evidence on the UK&#8217;s Seventh carbon budget\u00a0(2038-2042), Wales\u2019s Fourth Carbon Budget (2031-2035) and Northern Ireland\u2019s Fourth Carbon Budget (2038-2042). We<span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW75151398 BCX8\"> are in the process of <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun CommentStart SCXW75151398 BCX8\">considering the answers<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW75151398 BCX8\">before finalising the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW75151398 BCX8\">methodology<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW75151398 BCX8\">\u00a0underpinning our advice<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun CommentStart SCXW75151398 BCX8\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/voluntary-carbon-markets-and-offsetting-call-for-evidence-summary-mcc-economics-ltd\/\">Carbon Offsets<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In Spring 2022 the CCC launched a call for evidence on voluntary carbon offsetting. The views and evidence provided helped to inform the CCC\u2019s report on \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/voluntary-carbon-markets-and-offsetting\/\">Voluntary Carbon Markets and Offsetting<\/a>\u2019 published in 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/sixth-carbon-budget-and-welsh-emissions-targets-call-for-evidence-summary\/\"><strong>Sixth Carbon Budget and Welsh emissions targets\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In late 2019, the Committee launched a call for evidence to inform its advice to the UK Government on the Sixth Carbon Budget, published in December 2020. In addition, the Committee sought input on Wales\u2019 third carbon budget and interim emissions targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/building-a-zero-carbon-economy-call-for-evidence\/\">Net Zero<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In October 2018, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) updated its advice on the UK and Devolved Administrations\u2019 long-term targets for greenhouse gas emissions. The CCC sought evidence to help with that task.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/bioenergy-call-for-evidence-report\/\">Biomass in a low-carbon economy<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In November 2018, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) updated its advice on the role of biomass in the UK&#8217;s low-carbon economy. The CCC sought evidence to help with that task.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/publication\/building-low-carbon-economy-wales-setting-welsh-carbon-targets\/\">Welsh Carbon Budgets and Targets<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In December 2017, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) provided advice to the Welsh Government on setting Welsh carbon targets. The CCC sought evidence to help with that task.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/2017\/03\/09\/responses-to-scottish-climate-change-bill-consultation\/\">Scottish Climate Change Bill<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In March 2017, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) provided advice to the Scottish Government on a new Climate Change Bill for Scotland. The CCC sought evidence to help with that task.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theccc.org.uk\/2017\/03\/09\/responses-to-the-environment-wales-act-consultation\/\">The Environment (Wales) Act<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In April 2017, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) provided new advice to the Welsh Government on the design of Welsh carbon targets.
